How Can We Accept The Harsh Reality? 😒😒

 Hi, beautiful and lovely ARMYs!

I hope you have a wonderful day today. Have you heard about Jimin's second album, "MUSE"? BTS is clearly not giving us a chance to take a breath at all πŸ˜…πŸ€

Today's topic is a suggestion from my friend. It is about "Expectations vs. Reality." Talking about reality, I am going to relate it to hope because hope and expectations look exactly the same, just with different reactions.

Besides, reality can be hard to accept sometimes and in that tough moment, hope is all we need.

The definition of expectation is a strong belief that something will happen or an assumption about someone. Meanwhile, the definition of hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen. See? Both mean the same. The reaction makes it different.

When certain things or someone doesn't meet your expectations, you will feel disappointed, frustrated, angry, and so many other things. But when you have hope, even though things or someone don't exactly become what you expect them to be, you won't feel disappointed because you know it is out of your control.

As human beings, we can only plan, but God is the one to decide whether our plan will happen or not.

Expectations are more towards you wanting to control things. Meanwhile, hope is more towards realizing that God knows the best thing for you, which will help you accept reality better.

Expectations might make you stay in a bad state for a long time as your mind is clouded by doubt, disappointment, anxiety, and sadness.

Meanwhile, the feelings of hope will help push you forward. Yes, you will feel sad about the situation, but you won't dwell on it too much, knowing certain things are out of your control.

I hope this is helpful.
