BE YOUR OWN HERO
Hello, lovelies!!! How are you? It's April now, and we're getting very close to the OT7 reunion.
Have you ever experienced so many thoughts at night, especially before bed? There's one particular thought that stands out to me these days, and it's also something that I talked about with my friend.
I believe everyone is a main character in their own story. This also means that everyone is a hero in their life. People who come into our lives can't save us, and if we ever claim that they saved us, they're not, unless physically. Those people who come into our lives are a factor or a guide or an inspiration for us to save ourselves.
While it is romantic to say that someone saved us, the truth is that person makes you feel like you want to save yourself, which means the hero is still you. The reason why I said this is because when we make someone our hero, we become too attached to them, we become someone who is sort of defined by them. And, that can somehow affect our identity as a person.
I admit that it is important to appreciate those who inspire and guide us towards saving ourselves. However, it is also important to acknowledge yourself and your progress in being courageous. It is crucial to say to yourself, "Yes, I am my own hero."
I think this can be like a discussion that deserves another perspective. So, feel free to share your opinion as well.
Remember, there's no right or wrong perspective. We take and edit what we think will be necessary for self-improvement.
That's all for today. Take care and Borahae πππ
