How to Find Your Best Style?
Hi, lovelies. How are you doing so far? Time flies so fast and we are already in the half of 2025. Today's topic is, "How to Find Your Best Style?'
We often think style is about what we wear, but it’s really about how we feel in what we wear. It’s about identity. Growth. Energy. It’s about healing and being seen. In a world that constantly tells us how to look, finding your best style is an act of self-love and sometimes even rebellion. So, let’s explore how you can find your style in a way that honors who you truly are and who you’re becoming.
1. Start With You, Not Pinterest
Let’s be honest, Pinterest is a vibe. You open the app looking for outfit inspiration, and suddenly you're deep in a rabbit hole of perfectly curated aesthetics: “clean girl,” “soft grunge,” “that girl,” “boho chic,” “French minimalist.”
And while those boards can be fun and inspiring, they can also make you feel like you need to fit into a certain category. But you’re not a trend. You’re a whole person.
So before you create another mood board, ask yourself:
- How do I want to feel in my clothes?
- What colors or shapes feel like me, even if they’re not trending?
- What story do I want my style to tell about my healing, my energy, and my soul?
Pinterest is a great tool, but let it reflect you. Not to define you.
2. Clean Out What No Longer Aligns
Just like healing means releasing what no longer serves you emotionally, finding your style means clearing space in your closet. Ask yourself:
- Do I feel confident, at ease, or like myself in this piece?
- Would the version of me I'm becoming wear this?
- Does this represent my energy right now?
This process isn’t about being “fashionable.” It’s about making room for pieces that support the person you’re becoming.
3. Dress for the Emotion, Not just the Mirror
We’re taught to ask: “How do I look in this?”
Try asking instead:
π How do I feel wearing this?
Outfits have energy. They hold memories, moods, and emotions. When you’re on a healing journey, your style becomes more than just appearance; it becomes a support system. Whether you want to feel:
- Grounded → earth tones, loose layers, soft textures
- Confident → bold cuts, structure, color
- Feminine → flowy fabrics, gentle silhouette
- Free → mixed prints, movement, comfort
Let how you want to feel guide what you wear. Every outfit can be an intention.
4. Experiment Without Judgment
Your style won’t be found overnight. It’s a living, breathing reflection of who you are, and you’re allowed to evolve. Try out different aesthetics. Layer new textures. Mix vintage with modern. And, most importantly: fail joyfully. Trying something that doesn’t work isn’t a failure; it’s feedback. It means you're learning, healing, expanding.
Give yourself the freedom to play.
Last but not least, have fun through the process and wear the clothes and not the other way around. Keep shining, my lovelies
Take care and Borahae πππ
