Love has Many Levels

Hi, lovelies! How are you doing?

Today's topic is based on my perspective. It is just something that I make sense of in this world and how I find peace in my life.

I used to think love was something big, rare, and reserved for only the deepest relationships. Something you had to earn or hold tightly. Saying “I love you” felt like crossing a line I wasn’t sure I had the right to cross.

But over time, my view of love changed.

Now I see love as something woven into everyday life. It’s not just found in grand moments. It’s also in the quiet ones, the small kindnesses, the acts of patience, the way we show up for each other and ourselves.

Love has many levels.

There’s love in helping a stranger.

There is love in listening without interrupting.

There is love in letting someone rest without guilt.

Love in gratitude; for the day, for the people, for simply being here in the moment.

Not all love has to be deep to be real.

Some love is soft and brief, like a kind breeze.

Some love takes time, trust, and shared safety to grow.

And some love already lives within us, not because it’s been returned, but because we choose to give it freely.

So yes, I say “I love you” more now. Not always first. And not always in deep ways.

But because I care.

Because I see love as something to be expressed, not hoarded.

Because I believe love, like gratitude, is always present, we just have to open our eyes to see and feel it.

I also read a book by Jay Shetty, "8 Rules of Love". These are some of the sentences that left a deep mark on my heart.  "The more you spread love, the more you expand your capacity for love. Do it for yourself, no matter who receives or returns it".

Take care and Borahae πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ
